Yes, that’s right…unfortunately today was filled with both those things. First, the mistake: I forgot to put on sunscreen. I know. How does a pasty white person possibly forget to apply sunscreen when they are in freaking Africa? Your guess is as good as mine. Either way, my skin is a little tender tonight.
And the tragedy: I ran out of M&Ms today. I’m only nine days into my stay here. Obviously my rationing skills are wanting.
Sigh.
I’m off to bed now – sunburned, chocolate deprived, yet still very content!
Mind the Light 
Oh, my. Not sure what’s worse – the sunburn or running out of chocolate. If it’s possible for me to ship you M&Ms today and it’ll get there before you leave, send me your address. Serious. I have a stash on hand.
